Pathologist to give keynote address today

Today at 10:30 a.m. Central time, Ignacio I. Wistuba, MD, will give a keynote address on “The Role of the Pathologist in the Treatment of Non-small Cell Lung Cancer in 2012”. This is the first time that a pathologist has been selected as a keynote speaker for a Chicago Multidisciplinary Symposium in Thoracic Oncology.

Oral Abstract Session to examine impact of lung cancer research on enhanced patient care

Today’s Oral Abstract Session at 3:00 p.m. focuses on how the molecular fingerprint of lung cancer can be exploited to enhance patient care. Studies represent cutting-edge research regarding the molecular underpinnings of lung cancer that hold promise for future therapeutic interventions.
